Can somebody help me please, and explain why Cape Town drivers can’t indicate? Yesterday, on my way home from Kalk Bay I happened to be affected by four idiot drivers who, because they refused to use their indicators, were completely dangerous on the road. Like, for example, if I am waiting at a stop street on an uphill, and the approaching cars don’t indicate that they will turn before they pass me, I have to just sit there assuming they will go straight. Or the car in front of me, driving at a pretty stoned Muizenberg pace, decides without indicating to suddenly turn right? Oh, I could go on and on with examples. I just don’t get it. It’s not like indicating costs anything! It’s not like an SMS for example, which costs nothing to make and send for the service providers, only the customers have to pay. Indicating doesn’t wear your car down, or reduce your car’s life span, or use petrol or anything like that! So, what’s the deal. I swear, the only conclusion I can come to is that Cape Town drivers are just too damn lazy to indicate. I makes me seriously nuts!
